Granada Yoga is a collaborative effort by independent yoga teachers and studios in Granada, Nicaragua. 

The collective exists to foster mutual support, shared visibility, and a stronger yoga community.

The website hosts an integrated calendar of classes, workshops, retreats, and special events from participating teachers and studios throughout Granada and nearby areas. 

Instructors and studios remain independent while sharing a unified schedule that increases visibility and access to quality yoga offerings.

The Granada Yoga Collective’s mission: 

to share the practice of yoga so that each individual can strengthen their own well-being — physically, mentally, and spiritually — and in doing so, serve their families and communities with greater presence, balance, and care.

Amber

Amber is a certified yoga instructor, retreat leader, and sacred spaces facilitator. Originally from Arizona, Amber has been living and teaching yoga in Costa Rica and Nicaragua since 2019 when she started her own yoga business- Flow with Amber. She loves curating spaces that connect community, purpose, and joy! She lives with her husband and beautiful daughter in Granada and offers weekly classes at Casa Pure, chant circles, private classes, workshops, retreats, and more! 

Amber is passionate about guiding others to reclaim their energy and live a conscious life in harmony with nature and spirit. Her style of yoga is Hatha Flow classes which incorporate dynamic movements, breath awareness, and deep stretches. With heart woven messages and a balanced flow, you’ll stay present in your practice.

Milena Blandon Yoga teacher in Granada Nicaragua

Milena

Milena Blandón is a psychologist and body-oriented therapist whose work bridges psychology, movement, and healing. As a certified facilitator in Trauma Sensitive Yoga through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment, she offers a therapeutic approach that supports emotional recovery and resilience.

Milena’s classes invite participants to gently reconnect with their bodies and the present moment, cultivating autonomy, empowerment, and a sense of choice in each practice. Beyond the mat, she creates group experiences such as women’s circles and mixed circles, weaving together movement and dialogue to foster collective care and strengthen community bonds.

 

Warren

Warren Ogden was the founder of PURE Gym – Spa – Yoga in Granada, where he taught yoga and oversaw programming for 17 years before the center’s closure in 2025.   

After graduating from Duke University, Warren moved to Nicaragua and began teaching yoga and personal training while building community wellness offerings in Granada.   

He studied yoga through formal teacher training programs in Rishikesh and Dharamsala, India, completing both 200-hour and 500-hour certifications that deepened his practice and teaching approach.  

 Warren’s work emphasizes accessible, consistent, and community-focused yoga, and he continues to contribute to the local and international yoga community through teaching, retreats, and collaborative initiatives.
